Popsicle Stick Vase

Hey Everyone,

Today’s blog is a superb idea for you to use all the popsicle sticks that you have collected. And even if you haven’t previously collected them, you can collect those now because I am sure all of the readers out here love eating popsicles. You can make so many crafts with popsicle sticks, but for today, we are going to learn how to make a popsicle sticks stand/ vase which can be used as a pen organizer on the desk or can be used to keep flowers on the table. Either way, we are making a small sized vase for the table. It is up to you how you want to use it. If you like it, you can even use it on your dressing table to keep your entire make up in it.

Step 1:

Paint all the popsicle sticks that you have. You can paint them with acrylics or poster paints; it is your own choice. If you don’t want to keep them simple, you can add glitter to the paint or dip the sticks in glitter with glue to add the spark. Another amazing idea would be to paint different sets of popsicles in a ombre kind of a style which will make your popsicle sticks vase look super classy.

Step 2:

Once the paint has dried, you can start putting all the popsicles together, building it like we build a dominos house. The only difference here is, that you are going to add a little bit of glue on one edge of one popsicle stick, glue the others edge on it, and repeat for the second popsicle stick. To make it simple, start with four popsicle sticks to make a cuboid shaped vase. You can either make sets of four popsicles sticks at first or then glue them all together once they have dried. Or, you can build the whole vase from the base. Since you are making the DIY craft yourself, it is totally up to you how you want to alter certain things from the DIY, at your own pace and ease.

That’s it! Yes, it is a two-step DIY, how cool is that?

Easy wasn’t it? It is an amazing DIY craft which looks super chic on your dressing table, your dining table and pretty much anywhere.

You can make so many shapes of this vase. You can start with a square base, and keep gluing the next level of popsicle sticks at different angles to give the vase an arty and abstract shape. You can also increase the base of the vase by making larger shapes like hexagons for a wider base. This will also help you keep more things in it. Or more flowers.

I hope you all enjoyed learning today’s DIY craft and would love to give it a try. I will share a few videos to help you get ideas on how you can alter the DIY craft.
