DIY Tin Can Planters : Growing Your Own Plants Was Never This Easy

Hey Everyone,

Hope you all are feeling good today. Since a few months, I have wanted to make my own garden from scratch. And since I have a small baby nephew at home, so I have a collection of baby milk powder tin cans.I wanted to use those to make planters, but I didn’t know exactly how to go about it. So today, I came across so many awesome video tutorials of how tin cans can be used to make planters.  How cool is that?  I really got excited looking at the videos because this is something that I have been wanting to do since a very long time. Now I know where I need to start.

Before we begin with the videos, I need to add a disclaimer. The videos that will be shared on today’s blog do not belong to Crafty Blogger and we do not take any credit for the creativity displayed by the super amazing video bloggers.

The things that you might need for this DIY are:

  • Tin cans (of course)
  • Screwdriver
  • A piece of wood and nails ( if you want to make a hanging garden)
  • Sandpaper
  • Paint and paint brushes
  • And a grown plant/seed of the plant you want to grow

So let’s begin today’s really interesting DIY.

Amazing idea! Watch the next video to learn more about making tin can planters.

And,

Wow! Don’t these look adorable? I am sure these are going to make your garden look super pretty.

Never knew planting could be this easy right? I thought so too.

Keep the ideas coming? I love how all the videos have used such amazing color schemes which can totally brighten your garden area.Making it look completely exquisite.

Wow! You can even use ribbons or ropes to hang these tin can planters on your walls or from the roof. Just make sure the grip is extremely strong so that these don’t fall off on someone. Gotta be careful there!

This idea is superb for people who cannot recognize the herbs or plants by looking at them. What could be better than labeling the tin can planter with the herbs name? Life made easy!

Using a vibrant color scheme is just what you need to make your garden give you the fresh vibes.

And here goes the last awesome idea for today’s blog.

I love the painting technique used by the video blogger. Gives the tin can planters a very unique look.

And that’s about it for today. Hope you all enjoyed reading today’s blog and will give this DIY a try at home. Until next time, stay crafty.
