Incredible Idea to Make DIY Bangles from Plastic

Hey, Viewers!

Hope you all are doing amazing today on this beautiful morning.  So I am sure every one of you has a stock of piled up plastic bottles at home and you just don’t know what to do about them? Yes, you can dispose them off, but before you do that, why don’t you make something out of them? Like maybe a bangle?

Yes, you heard me right! Today’s blog is going to be about how you can make very funky and classy bracelets and bangles out of the plastic bottles. I was confused too when I heard that we can make bracelets out of a bottle, but don’t be because it is super easy! This is probably the best DIY I have ever come across because it helps us recycle the things we are not using in a very intelligent way.

How many of you love bangles? And love collecting them? I remember back in my teenage, I used to love wearing these super funky bracelets and arty bangles. And I always wanted to learn how I could make these things at home. Now I know how to make them, and you can give it a try too. Let’s have a look at the videos.

Here is another video that shows the same idea. The only difference is it uses a different medium to paint those bangles to give it an abstract look. Let’s see.

Simple wasn’t that? All you need is a plastic bottle, an iron to smoothen the edges of the piece of plastic you have cut, some paint and a paint brush. For the videos that will be shared next, you might also need some fabric to give the bangles a completely different look. Here have a look

You can do these activities with your children or even with your nieces and nephews, but adult supervision is highly recommended as the iron is used to smooth the edges of the plastic.

These videos give you so many ideas to decorate those bangles. You can use beads, glitter and so much more to embellish those bangles. You can even make a bangle for every outfit.  The width of the bangle can also be cut according to your wish. But keep in mind before cutting the bottle that you need to keep a little extra width for the bangle as some of it gets melted when we smooth the edges with an iron.  You can use the same technique to make a superhero arm band for the boys and paint it in shades of black and brown to make it look as it is in the movies.

I hope you enjoyed today’s blog thoroughly and would give this DIY a try at home, along with your young ones. Until next time, stay crafty!
