Large Sized DIY Flowers

Hope you all are doing great today. So how many of you love flowers? I know that I do, because today’s post is going to be about how to make large sized flowers, that too which look somewhat like Dahlia flowers. Interesting isn’t it? The videos that will be shared today will show you step by step how to make these large sized flowers which can be used to make a backdrop for any party, can be utilized as a wall hanging or can even be reduced to a size which can then be attached to a card or a gift. You would need some different colors and sizes of paper, some glue and a piece of cardboard or a bangle to act as a base for the flower. Let’s get started then.

Looks simple, doesn’t it? And trust me it is as easy as it looks.You just have to fold different sizes and colors of paper to give it a more realistic effect. The layers of paper can be changed depending on how you want your flower to look like. To make it on a much larger scale, you can add shades of the same color to give a realistic touch to the flower. This one almost looks like a bouquet of flowers, doesn’t it? If I am not wrong, you can even use this as a center piece for tables at a party. Good idea? I say YES. The next video too will show how you can use different mediums to make dahlia flowers by folding these pages and making it look like something so beautiful.

The next video isn’t just about rolling the paper, it introduces a new technique to fold the paper and make the petals of a flower look more detailed.  You don’t believe what I say? Come have a look at the video.

It might be a little more complicated than the previous videos as shared in today’s blog but just look at the final outcome. AMAZING outcome! It looks just like the ones in previous videos with only a certain bit of added detail which gives the buds effect on the petals. I think if we use a mix of two colors to make one petal where the color of the petal and the bed is slightly different, I think the petals would look really nice. What do you say? You must try this at home and I am sure you will enjoy every bit of this. You can even use this flower making as an activity for young kids who can give you hand and learn so much from this.
